CORRECTIONAL HEALTH treatment centers provides healthcare to people in correctional settings and helps them navigate the transition back into the wider community. Its work encompasses medical care, mental and behavioral health, dental services, telehealth, care coordination, and reentry support. Yet behind these categories is a simpler ambition: to make it possible for a person to be cared for at a time when life may feel particularly difficult to organize or understand.

CHTC approaches healthcare as a continuum rather than a series of isolated encounters. The aim is not simply to treat what is immediately in front of them, but to help people move from one STAGE of care to the next — from illness toward stability, from custody toward community, and, where possible, from uncertainty toward a greater sense of control over their own lives.

For people who may have spent much of their lives navigating difficult systems, CHTC seeks to make that journey a little less lonely, a little more coherent, and a little more hopeful.
