Melanie ROBLEDO and Genevieve RIMER are close friends, both formerly incarcerated, who now dedicate their lives to service across CALIFORNIA and beyond. Drawing from lived experience, they work to reshape the systems they once navigated.

GENEVIEVE IS THE FOUNDER OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FORMERLY INCARCERATED SOCIAL WORKERS AND A  REENTRY expert helping ORGANIZATIONS DELIVER EFFECTIVE, AND IMPACTFUL SERVICES. Melanie is a housing and justice leader who develops programs addressing the intersection of homelessness and reentry, with a focus on expanding access to stable, safe housing as the foundation for rebuilding lives.
