Grateful Peoples is a nonprofit founded by New Yorker Teddy Droseros, dedicated to improving mental health and building stronger communities through the simple, daily practice of gratitude.

The organization partners with schools to provide Gratitude Journals, helping students develop emotional resilience and a positive mindset. Teachers in the program report 100% positive impact on student behavior and outlook—including increased energy, better sleep, improved focus, and reduced anxiety and depression.

Grateful Peoples also runs a public journal initiative, placing Gratitude Journals in community spaces like coffee shops, and other public spaces. These shared journals invite anyone to write what they’re grateful for—fostering connection, reflection, and collective well-being.

In a time of growing mental health challenges, Grateful Peoples offers a simple yet powerful way to spark gratitude and strengthen both individuals and communities.
