One LA Clean is led by Joe shawver, who has taken it upon himself to tackle illegal dumping across South Central Los Angeles. What started as a personal effort has grown into a steady, community-driven movement, with volunteers and local residents coming together to clean and reclaim their streets.
Alongside the cleanups, Joe and his team also show up in MacArthur Park to feed people experiencing homelessness. The work is simple and direct—providing meals, consistency, and a sense of care in a place that often lacks it.
